Terms of use

These terms cover DSAT Trainer while it is free to use. No payment is taken and no subscription exists. If paid plans are introduced, separate terms will cover them and you will be asked to accept those before paying anything.

1. What this is

DSAT Trainer is a web application for practising for the Digital SAT. It provides original practice questions, mock tests, progress tracking, and training exercises.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the College Board. SAT® is a trademark of the College Board. Every practice question in this app is original material written for it. We refer to the SAT only to describe what the app prepares you for.

2. What it does not promise

This is a study tool. We do not promise any score, any improvement, any admission outcome, or any result at all.

Two things we want to be plain about, because overstating them would be the easiest way to mislead you:

• Difficulty labels are our own judgments, not statistics from real test

takers. We are collecting real answers precisely so that they can become statistics, and we will say so when they do.

• Practice scores are estimates. They use a difficulty-weighted curve modelled

on the real test's published routing design, but the College Board's actual scoring model is not public. For score calibration, use the College Board's own Bluebook practice tests, especially close to your test date.

3. Who can use it

You can use the app itself at any age. Without an account nothing is sent to us — your work stays in your browser.

An account is for ages 13 and over. We do not create accounts below that.

If you are under 13, we ask for a parent or guardian's email address and send them one message asking permission before we store any of your work. Until they agree, nothing you do is saved to our servers. If they decline, we delete what is there. They can withdraw permission later by emailing us.

4. Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.

You may delete your account whenever you like, and we will delete the data held against it. There is an export button first if you want a copy.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used to attack the service, break the law, or interfere with other people's use of it. If we do that and you think we got it wrong, email us and a person will look at it.

5. What you may and may not do with the content

The practice questions, explanations, and diagrams are ours. Use them to study, including printing them for your own use.

Please do not republish them, sell them, feed them into a product that competes with this one, or scrape the question bank wholesale.

Your own work — your answers, notes, and progress — stays yours. We do not claim ownership of it, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising. We do use answers in anonymous, aggregated form to correct question difficulty, as described in the privacy policy.

6. The service is free, and provided as it is

We provide the app without charge and without warranty. It may contain errors, it may be unavailable, and we may change or discontinue it. If we are shutting it down we will give notice and a way to export your data first.

Because this is free, our liability to you is limited to the fullest extent the law where you live allows.

Nothing in these terms removes rights you have that cannot be removed by agreement. That includes consumer rights, and it includes any rights a parent or guardian has over a child's data. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.

7. Privacy

What we collect, why, and how to get rid of it is set out in the privacy policy. It describes what the application actually does, table by table.

8. Changes

If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters, we will tell account holders by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

9. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
