About
DSAT Trainer is a Digital SAT practice app. It holds 4,054 original questions — 2,002 Math and 2,052 Reading & Writing — covering all 29 official skills at three difficulty levels, with worked explanations and 533 diagrams.
Why it exists
It was built around one finding: the two hardest-working students it was written for were not plateauing because they lacked content. They were losing points for executional reasons — pacing, pressure, misreading, and rushing — and more practice questions were not fixing any of that.
Most study tools answer "do more". This one tries to answer "more of what", which is a harder question and a more useful one. That is why the app records, in one tap, why you missed a question, and why the dashboard opens with a statement about where you actually are rather than a wall of statistics.
What is honest about it
Two things we say everywhere, including in the app itself:
Difficulty labels are our own judgments. They are not statistics from real test takers. They follow the College Board's published Assessment Framework for domain and difficulty proportions, and reading passages are matched to the official reading level, but nobody has yet measured how hard these questions actually are. Real answers from real users are what turns that from a judgment into a measurement, and we will say so plainly when it happens.
Practice scores are estimates. The scoring here uses a difficulty-weighted curve modelled on the real test's published two-stage routing design. The College Board's actual model is not public. Use DSAT Trainer for volume, drilling, and the training modes; use the College Board's own Bluebook practice tests for score calibration, especially in the last fortnight before your test.
